The 2020 Keaton Barrón Charity Classic was a great success!  Thank you to the 220 golfers, 35 volunteers, and 20 committee members who made it such a wonderful day of raising money for local children battling cancer.

 

This year's tournament raised $59,000!  The K Club board presented a check to the Children's Hospital Foundation on September 11 for $30,000. It will fund local pediatric cancer research so that Oklahoma children can receive the best treatment possible without leaving their families and the medical staff they have grown to love.

 

The additional $29,000 will complete the funding of Keaton’s Clubhouse, a safe space on the hematology/oncology floor at The Children’s Hospital where patients can relax and play outside of the confines of their hospital rooms.  Renovations are scheduled to begin in November 2020 and be completed in January 2021.  This beautiful lounge area will provide opportunities for oncology patients to experience a small piece of a “normal” childhood.
